Szechuan Pepper is another type of pepper. It comes in whole form and has a mildly hot, fragrant taste. It comes from the dried seed pods of the prickly ash tree and is mainly used in Asian dishes. It works particularly well with duck and chicken dishes, stocks and sauces. Enjoy!
