Add popping kernels up to the bowl's measurement line. Place the lid in the bowl - it's designed to sit down in the bowl and rise as the kernels pop
Put in the microwave for three minutes. DON'T LEAVE UNATTENDED, once the popping has reduced to only a few odd pops, stop the microwave. This may happen anywhere from 1.5 to three minutes, depending on the moisture content of your kernels.
Add the Sprinkle of your choice. -
Make The Flavouring Stick
While the popcorn is still hot, transfer your freshly popped corn to a large bowl, the steam will help the sprinkle
stick.
Apply a little mist of spray oil to the popcorn to also help the sprinkle stick, toss and reapply until all the popcorn is covered β use the minimum amount of oil to improve the final flavour.TIP
Spray oil: It's best to use olive,
sunflower or canola oil. These oils will help the sprinkle stick to the popcorn without affecting the taste. For a buttery flavour addition, use melted butter instead of oil.
