Based on this valuable feedback, we understand that a growing number of our customers have / have developed allergies to certain ingredients. We take our manufacturers’ allergen warnings seriously, so we can keep our customers up-to-date and, most importantly, safe at all times.
Our spice supplier has recently informed us of a possible presence (traces) of gluten in the following products:
- Coriander (Ground)
- Coriander Seeds
- Cumin Seeds
- Cumin (Ground)
- Garam Masala
- Mustard (Ground)
- Mustard Seeds (Yellow)
These traces of gluten can occur for a variety of reasons, such as:
- Occurring naturally
- Cross contact during growing and harvesting of raw materials
- Cross contact during transport and storage at source of origin
- Cross contact during the manufacturing process
- All our products (Seasonings) with “Gluten-Free” labelling have a nil presence of gluten and are safe for all customers to consume, including those with Coeliac Disease.
- All our single origin (pure) products, such as Basil Leaves, Bay Leaves, Oregano, Salt, Pepper, etc. are free from gluten, dairy, MSG and meat products. All our Stocks and Gravies are free from gluten, dairy, MSG and meat products.
- All our Wet Pastes (Crushed Garlic, Crushed Ginger and Crushed Chillies) are free from gluten, dairy, MSG and meat products. And all Chef’s Garden Indian Cooking Sauces and Simmer ‘n’ Slow Cooking Sauces are free from gluten, dairy, MSG and meat products.
